As per Google “A pump track is a continuous loop of dirt berms and “rollers” (smooth dirt mounds) that you ride without pedaling. The name “pump track” comes from the pumping motion used by the rider’s upper and lower body as they ride around the track.
One on the many pump tracks we visited is The Kolin Smith Memorial Skate Park located in Tillsongburg, Ontario, Canada. This pump track is different from the rest as it’s made of asphalt. Still has some very nice flow and larger than most.

If you just want to try out a pump track and don’t think you have the proper bicycle, just cruise with what you have to understand the flow. You may have to pedal to get over the transitions, but once you start, you don’t want to stop!
Half and hour at one of these parks and you’ll get a full body workout.
Check out the Crankworx Pump Track Challenge and see how the pro’s handle it.
Pump tracks could also be found at BMX Parks or Skills Parks.
Happy adventuring! #getoutside
