Cycling the Hamilton to Brantford Rail Trail

The Hamilton to Brantford Rail Trail, which is part of the Trans-Canada Trail, aka The Great Trail, is about 40 km’s one way. The trail then continues to Cambridge along the Grand River for another 40 km’s.

We’ve ridden this trail many times but decided to park at the intersection where the trail crosses Highway 52 in Copetown. The parking lot can fit about 15 vehicles and it’s off the main street. Which is a great advantage and safer than most that are right on the street.

Out trek was almost a 40 km round trip with a nice stop at the Grand River in Brantford as our turn around point.
