On the South side of Highway 5 and the East side of Appleby Line in Burlington, Ontario there are hiking and cycling trails that travel into Bronte Provincial Park along Bronte Creek.
The trail is narrow in some parts and then it opens up closer to Bronte Provincial Park. This trail is used a lot by hikers, dog walkers and mountain bikers. You really have to pay close attention as there are a lot of blind corners and some parts are really fast for cyclists.
It was a nice hidden gem to find right in the city.
