I believe this weekend’s mountain bike ride was the latest I’ve ever ridden in the fall season.
The trails were slick from the wet fallen leaves, and there was a light layer of frost which made it a challenging ride.
I guess I’m used to pristine conditions. 🙂
Puslinch Tract Conservation, aka Twin Ponds, is located in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada. There are many, very well maintained, mountain bike trails for all levels of riders – beginner, with nice flowy trails through the pines to advanced, gnarly tight switchbacks with lots of climbing and rocks.
These trails are are also hiking trials – but watch for the many thoughtless people who let their dogs run, off leash, anywhere they want.
As none of the trails are marked, I would suggest looking at a GPS software like AllTrails to get around. There are so many trails that intertwine with each others that look like spaghetti. There are many free parking spots available off of Wellington 32 Road.

No matter the weather conditions, nothing is more satisfying than a bicycle ride than sitting on a sofa!
